Centre for Electronic Corrosion (CELCORR): is a research group focussing on humidity related reliability issues of electronics at Department of Mechanical Engineering, Technical University Denmark. We combine our materials, electrochemistry, and corrosion knowledge in understanding and finding solutions to the humidity effects on electronics causing corrosion and functionality issues. CELCORR collaborate with a number of universities, research institutions, and industries internationally on various issues of humidity related reliability issues and present R&D activities are focussed on humidity issues at material, component, PCBA, and system level. Expertise at the centre include issues related to PCBA cleanliness and humidity interaction, PCBA design aspects and connection to humidity related failures, solder flux chemistry and humidity issues, materials and component related aspects, conformation coating issues, and aspects on enclosure design to control humidity build up. CreCon consortium for climatically reliable electronics: CreCon consortium is established in 2011 and a part of the CELCORR aiming at providing continuous support to industries on climatic reliability issues. Consortium members are companies who wish to get support in on reliability issues at various levels. CELCORR group through CreCon consortium collaborates with a number of industries and provide support on various issues on corrosion reliability through research, product support, testing, advice, net-working, unique laboratory facilities, and education. A member only information website is available for members providing comprehensive information on all aspects of climatic reliability. Our present key industrial collaborators are: Danfoss, Grundfos, Vestas, Eltek, Bosch, Inventec, and Widex.
