Recently moved from Denver to the Northwest, and they're here on a mission: to revel in the sweet intoxication of melodious indie rock, and share it with every thirsty listener they can find. John & Bobby Strand, brothers and co-writers/singers for over a decade have fused with drummer Spencer Monson and currently comprise the positive, negative, and neutral 3-piece that is the sizzling hotwire "Celeste". From sharing the stage with bands like The Myriad, The Afters, The Material, and The Violet Burning, to seeking the promise of lush and beautiful western shores and the allure of a dream still whispering in the unknown, the men of Celeste have been there and back; yet they have only just begun to fulfill their quest for a journey of the senses, of purpose, and of destiny. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Releasing their debut EP "The Rivalry" in March 2008, Celeste is now booking shows in the Northwest region while scheming on plans for a full length project.
