It has taken up the task of sensitizing the masses so as to make them aware of their role towards their environment as a part of the Fundamental Duty under Article 51-A (g) of the Constitution of India and instilling in them the spirit of environmentalism. The cell also aims to create and maintain a database of environment-related issues, spread awareness through dissemination of knowledge and collaborate with various national and international organizations.
