The Center for Advancing Health works to increase people's engagement in their health care. We listen to patient perspectives. We translate what we learn into resources that help all of us participate fully in our health care and that enable policy makers and clinicians to support our efforts.Our activities include: - Be a Prepared Patient (http://www.cfah.org/prepared-patient/): To benefit fully from heath care for ourselves or our loved ones, we must engage in our care. CFAH designed these resources to help you not only find good health care but also make the most of it. - Engagement (http://www.cfah.org/engagement/): We listen to patient perspectives and translate what we learn into resources that help all of us participate fully in our health care and that enable policy makers and clinicians to support us in doing so. - the Health Behavior News Service (http://www.cfah.org/hbns/), which writes original news stories about the latest findings from peer-reviewed research journals and disseminates them world-wide to subscribed journalists; - the William Ziff Fellows (http://www.cfah.org/about/william-a-ziff-fellows), a group of leading patient engagement experts who exchange ideas about how to raise visibility and credibility of new approaches to increase people's participation in their health care; - and a wealth of other research and publications ( www.cfah.org).
