Nearly 60 people at the Center for Assisted Living Technology (CFT) work every day to spread the use of welfare technology locally, nationally and internationally. We are curious and committed to exploring and improving the quality of life of our citizens and the working conditions of our employees. At the same time, we are aware of the demographic challenges and the financial framework we are subject to. If we, as a municipality, are to provide citizens with a service that we can uphold, we must use the technologies, wherever it makes sense. Either as a substitute for a municipal service or to support it. Center for Assisted Living Technology is responsible for the CareWare concept of annual conferences; we run DokkX, The City of Aarhus's permanent exhibition of welfare technology; we have a Center for Testing and Evaluation of Welfare technology at Vikærgården; we have our own welfare technology training centre for employees in Aarhus Municipality, and we export our experience and knowledge abroad. CFT employs physiotherapists, occupational therapists, health technology engineers, social and health care assistants, nurses and several other professions.
