Mental Health Care - Newport Beach, California, United States
Marriage and family therapists are highly trained mental health professionals equipped to diagnose and treat clients with problems that stem from unresolved interpersonal or family of origin issues. As an MFT intern I work with closely with my clients to provide support and perspective as they struggle with life's challenges. I practice focused therapy - combining psychodynamic, systems, cognitive, and existential approaches - to resolve emotional and relational problems or reduce symptoms in the shortest amount of time possible. As an MFT intern I am also qualified to work with persons where more intensive, long-term care is necessary to treat mental, relational or emotional conditions. In my practice I work with my clients on a wide range of symptoms including anxiety, depression, anger, grief/loss, relational conflicts, marital/parenting problems, communication problems, and shame/guilt issues. As a knowledgeable, trustworthy therapist, my passion is for helping my clients get to the root of their problems by understanding how their past influences their present, exploring the nature of their relational, emotional, and cognitive worlds, and, most importantly, deciding how they want to change in order to live the more abundant life they envision.
