Our Federal Grant Funding Ended. We are now closed. Founded in January 2011, the Center for Emerging Entrepreneurs is dedicated to the growth and success of new and established businesses in central Illinois. The Center for Emerging Entrepreneurs works to: • Shape business owners into successful entrepreneurs • Develop the vision and growth potential of emerging entrepreneurs and their businesses • Provide encouragement and motivation for early stage entrepreneurs • Assist start-up businesses with developing effective management skills • Successfully link businesses with community resources as business partners in the process of growing the economy in McLean County and Central Illinois • Offer entrepreneurial educational programs to assist business owners • Act as the community connection, linking start-ups with local business services
