Welcome to the Center for Faith and Enterprise page!We try to find ways to help people (ourselves included) tap into the deep resources of their own faith or spirituality and thereby find sources of strength, compassion, wisdom, and purpose in their work lives.This can involve exploring spiritual practices, engaging the Bible and the Christian tradition, and considering the connections between the practical or secular aspects and the spiritual aspects of our daily work. We believe that many of us have a deep, intuitive desire to experience a deeper awareness of God, and to allow this awareness to inspire us as we contribute to the greater good. This, we believe, can be basis for spiritual renewal that can affect our entire lives -- including our work lives -- and that has the potential to renew and energize our work.We focus on the following key areas:1) Finding purpose in our work life.2) Spiritual practices that can help us in our work.3) Overcoming stress and other forms of work-related adversity.4) Spiritual aspects of leadership.5) Markets, enterprise and societal well being.6) The role of the church and other religious institutions in promoting renewal.We invite you to listen to our Faith and Enterprise Podcast and read our blog and articles, all of which are available free at faithandenterprise.org.
