Centre for Innovation (CFI) is an Innovation lab of Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College. CFI was started in 2010 with an objective to be a forum for creative output of the budding engineers of JGEC apart from academics. It provides students the necessary platform for realizing their ideas and turn them in to reality. Its workspace and comprehensive inventory, ample guidance from faculty & senior-students and the zeal and passion of the CFI team make CFI a gifted asset for the college and its students. And over time, CFI has successfully evolved into a hub which encourages thinking and provokes students to generate novel ideas making it truly the center where innovation takes place.it deals with the following fields 1. Robotic2. Aerospace and Air modelling 3. Automotive engineering ( designing, development, R&D etc)4. Computation and AI and many more
