The Center for Modern Turkish Studies was founded in 2011 to produce academic knowledge in the context of Social Sciences and Humanities through high quality research dealing with the issues Turkey faced in the last two centuries. The language of instruction at CEMTS is English. Our program is supported by more than 20 full-time faculty members and instructors from Political Science, International Relations, Sociology, History, Law, Literature, Communication and Islamic Studies as well as faculty members and experts from other fields and institutions. We have 35+ graduate students at the moment.
