Center for Post-Soviet Studies is a non-governmental, nonprofit, nonpartisan voluntary union of citizens, established by students and recent graduates of Political Science, International Relations, Russian Studies etc. Mission and goals of the organization are:1. Scientific, educational, research and other activities.2. Promoting development of democratic principles3. Promoting development of civic society4. Increasing the level of awareness in the society5. Supporting active participation of youth in civic life6. Supporting youth initiatives7. Monitoring elections in Post-Soviet statesIn order to achieve its goals and tasks the organization:* Conducts research about migration, political, economic, social and other ongoing processes in Post-Soviet states;* Arranges meetings, conferences, seminars, discussions and other;* Cooperates with non-governmental organizations and governmental structures in Georgia as well as beyond its borders;* Releases and spreads results of research and analysis;* Cooperates with local and international media;* Conducts independent media activity;* Conducts research, publishing and translator activities.
