The Center for Sustainable Technology, Education and Policy (C4STEP) is a 501(c)(3) California non-profit corporation with the mission to develop and promote sustainable energy and water technologies, education programs and public policy. We firmly believe that today's economic and environmental challenges can be solved and we will merge a better society. We also believe that the challenges of the 21st century are too large to solve by continuing 20th century approaches to public policy, regulation and business practices.The costs of not succeeding in stopping the adverse effects of climate change and our dependence on foreign oil are much too great. As the world's challenges have grown larger and more significant, so must our solutions grow more bold.
