A professional organization founded to educate and facilitate collective leadership, scholarly exchanges, dialogue among policy-makers, citizens, academics, and practitioners. In doing so, promote a systemic approach to solving complex problems and make it possible for our leaders to understand how complex systems work. Our purpose is to help organizations and institutions build Systems thinking capacity to catalyze collective leadership and accelerate progress against our society's most intractable problems. We believe system leadership is critical for the time we now live. At CSLS we know how to create lasting progress. Our community of learners and partners design and facilitate systemic change projects, conferences, consultancy, training, coaching, workshops, and dialogic process that can inspire leaders to collaborate and co-create new realities. We work to help people bridge the gap between understanding and implementation of systemic change for a better future. Aims & Objectives•To build a foundation of practical know-how regarding systems thinking to provoke collective sense-making; grow a critical mass of people capable of seeing the larger system and relational connectedness that brings forth collective leadership needed to solve complex problems.•To facilitate holding spaces for policy dialogue aimed at understanding of our collective consciousness as well as exploring the problematic nature of interconnections and relationships inherent in any given system environment. In doing so, build capacity that enables trust and catalyze collective action.•To promote the concept of sustainability as a systemic transdisciplinary phenomenon. We work to empower professionals to induce the culture of sustainability in organizations and communities to effectively contribute to advancing sustainable development agenda, supported by meaningful partnerships aimed at building capacity and enhancing our collective ecological intelligence.
