CEWOGE is a Malawian women led NGO that is dedicated to social development with a life-long commitment to working for the empowerment of disadvantaged women and girls of society. Our aim is to empower women and girls socially, economically, and politically through girls' empowerment clubs in community schools and women's' community networks known as Strong and Courageous Women that act as a platform of reaching out to women and girls for empowerment respectively. We believe that a generation of strong and powerful women and girls who would positively influence their society is possible and we work towards achieving this purpose. Since our inception,we have worked with a range of partners in Malawi to implement programs and activities that promote equal rights for women to ensure they have an active role in Malawi. We do this by enhancing their social, political, economic, and cultural practice.
