The Center of Excellence in Energy Efficiency (CEEE) at King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM) was established in October 2016 with support from Saudi Energy Efficiency Program (SEEP) and with funding from King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) as an initiative under the Saudi Energy Efficiency Center (SEEC) in response to the Saudi Arabia's vision 2030. CEEE was created to contribute towards supporting sustainable development, improving energy efficiency and management, as well as promoting modern energy technologies and services within the kingdom. CEEE offers public services on energy efficiency improvements by disseminating knowledge and training, supporting research and development, promoting innovative technologies and new ideas, in addition to creating public awareness. CEEE also aims to facilitate technology transfer, and applied research in the kingdom. CEEE has strategic collaborations with SEEC and KACST.
