Center of Maritime Technologies e.V.- A Maritime Network for Research and Innovation - The Center of Maritime Technologies is an association with more than 80 members from the maritime field, such as shipyards, supply industry, shipping, service providers, academia, universities and government agencies.The association's goal is to strenghten research, development and innovation in the maritime industry by promoting cooperation between the various players in industry and the academic world. Service: - preparation, planning and management of maritime R&D projects- coordination and management of collective industrial research projects for the maritime industry (> 300 projects since its foundation)- developing research strategies and concepts- promoting European integration by cooperating in European bodies and contributing to shaping the European research area- technology transfer with a focus on small and medium sized enterprises- contract research in key areas (e.g. production planning and management / process simulation, innovative materials, structures, production technologies and their qualification)Fields of Expertise:- proposal preparation and management of research projects- EU integration and European networking- production planning and management / process simulation- innovative materials, structures and production processes, lightweight structures- energy, environmental protection and safety- groupware and innovative IT solutions
