Center on the Square is a non-profit, 501(c )(3) corporation dedicated to the expansion and appreciation of the performing arts in the region. Through innovative artistic offerings, such as our ''KidStage'' children's theater program, the Center has a significant impact on the level of arts participation in the community. The Center nurtures artists, technicians, administrators, volunteers, and audience members by providing opportunities to study and enjoy the art of theater. Center on the Square is supported in part by the Arkansas Arts Council, a division of the Arkansas Department of Heritage, the National Endowment for the Arts, and is a member of the Arkansas Community Theater Association.Center on the Square was nominated in the Arkansas Democrat Gazette as one of five candidates for Best Live Theater in the Arkansas (2018).
