In the heart of the Utica/Marcellus Shale Formations with Over 200,000 sq. ft. of warehouse, On the Ohio River with river, rail, highway access and Vaccuum unloading of barges on the Ohio River. This 1,700-acre site includes approximately 300 acres of developed industrial land along the Ohio River. Formerly an aluminum smelting plant, it is located just off State Route 7 and is equipped with private rail service, full electric and natural gas service, a water treatment plant, as well as two harbors with cranes and conveyor systems. Two warehouse buildings totaling 207,000 square feet (sf) with cranes are available. A furnished office and medical building are on site as well. Topography of the portion of site along the river is generally flat. Additional undeveloped acreage is available north of State Route 7 with topography that is hilly with options for terraced site layout. The Hannibal, Ohio location is in center of the Utica/Marcellus Shale formations that have become ground zero for the regions Hydraulic Fracturing operations. Hydraulic Fracturing material can be vacuum unloaded from barges on the Ohio River.
