This is that mantra that drove us to create the MAPS framework.Our How - MAPSIn our early days of growing our travel company BTA we noticed that we were falling victim to the same traps that most small businesses fall into; trading time for money and sacrificing our personal health and time with our families. Like most business owners, we wanted to elevate our business, infusing it with greater personal fulfillment, service more clients, change lives, and increase our profits to ensure growth. We understood early that a business functioning in a climate of chaos quickly loses balance and, without equilibrium, will ultimately tip over and fail. We needed a process to properly divide tasks based on our natural skills and interests and a system to delegate work that did not bring us joy and diverted our time from our core responsibilities. Going through each area of our business step by step, day after day, we began to understand and appreciate that it was an entity with its own identity that needed to be nurtured and cultivated. When we systematically created processes, templates, and clearly defined objectives, our business expanded, and our satisfaction and personal happiness improved. Recognizing that we needed to replicate this systematic approach with every area of our business, we began to appreciate its nuances, find the hidden flaws that drained our time, energy, and revenue, and fix the underlying issues by following our core vision. Our ultimate goal is to replicate successful, predictable outcomes.
