The Beach Patrol's official motto is: THE DEED IS ALL, NOT THE GLORYOur mandate is twofold:First, the Patrol provides aquatic supervision to the surrounding waters off the Main Beach in Port Stanley. Subsequently, the Beach Patrol provides first aid and first response support to all Main Beach Patrons.Second, the Patrol endeavours to provide water safety awareness and education within the community.These two mandate objectives are accomplished through the following services that the Beach Patrol provides:Aquatic supervisionAquatic and First Aid rescue/careWater safety awareness pamphlets and talks to patrons, local schools or community based programsAquatic and First Aid trainingPublic service and community based beach events
