It encourages Central Victorian locals to test the effectiveness of different energy efficiency and renewable energy products and services in reducing energy use and reliance on non-renewable energy.The Central Victoria Solar City project is funded by the Australian Government through the Department of the Climate Change and Energy Efficiency, the Central Victoria Solar City Consortium, Sustainability Victoria and the Sustainability Fund.
