The CAT is a non-profit organization registered in France. It was founded in 2014 by Jean-Charles Brisard and Damien Martinez. The Center for the Analysis of Terrorism (CAT) is a research center aiming at becoming a European leading think tank on the analysis of terrorism. The CAT provides a unique ability of operational research, focused on the financial, organizational and spatial patterns of terrorist activities. Its operational, fact-based and neutral approach leaves the CAT in a privileged position to develop propositions for governments and European Institutions. The CAT members are regularly part of hearings by National and International Institutions. The CAT Honorary Committee includes Marc Trevidic (former French antiterrorist judge), Alain Juillet (Former Deputy Director of Intelligence at the DGSE), Baltasar Garzon Real (former investigative judge at the Central Court of instruction of the Spanish High Court) and Michael Chandler (Former Chairman of the UN Al-Qaeda and Taliban Sanction Monitoring Group). The CAT advisory Committee includes ten foremost international experts on terrorism. The members of the research team are graduated from European leading Universities. @cat_centre
