OUR VISIONCADPD vision is to see people with disabilities of all ages and cultures come together unified and empowered by sharing the belief that they hold the power to create and shape how they live and grow within their own communities.OUR MISSIONTo build capacity and expand service delivery opportunities for persons with disabilities in Tanzania through partnership among the public, nonprofit and private sectors to create and sustain inclusive community.SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES:1. Promote the rights of disabled people as a cross-cutting theme in all CADPD's work.2. Develop an understanding of the situation of disabled women and girls, men and boys.3. Develop and strengthen networks with other Organizations working to promote the rights of persons with disabilities.4. Help people understand how disability is relevant to their own situation, values and priorities.5. Address gender and look at whether policies and processes discriminate against women and girls.6. To increase awareness of disability issues in Tanzania and ensure that the needs of disabled women and men are addressed by poverty reduction strategy.7. To ensure that the needs of persons with disabilities are taken into account in the development of all new recreational, Sports, cultural and arts activities and facilities.
