The Centre for Social Initiative and Management (CSIM), a project of the Manava Seva Dharmasamvardhini (MSDS) Trust is a training institution which empowers change agents with entrepreneurial skills. Established in Chennai in 1999, CSIM has branches in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai and Coimbatore. What we do • Training for Social Entrpreneurs: CSIM offers courses to build professional skills and innovative & strategic thinking in individuals aspiring to be change agents, to help them transform their vision into creative action and impact. CSIM Bangalore offers the Social Entrepreneurship Outlook Programme, a four-month part-time course designed to introduce the principles and criteria of social entrepreneurship to actual and potential social change agents. The classroom sessions of the program are conducted by leading social entrepreneurs who have succeeded in creating deep impact in their respective fields. This is followed by an experiential learning component in which students work with and learn from organisations which are doing pioneering work in the social sector like Ashoka Foundation, SELCO, Rural Shores, Reap Benefit, EnAble India, Swami Vivekananda Youth Movement etc.• Impact Measurement: CSIM provides facilitation to prepare social accounts and is the training partner of Social Audit Network (UK and India)
