The Brazilian Center for Analysis and Planning (CEBRAP) is a leading public policie think tank covering the field of human sciences where sociologists, political scientists, philosophers, economists, anthropologists, demographers, lawyers and historians develop analysis of the Brazilian reality. Cebrap houses the Center for Metropolitan Studies (CEM), developing studies related to the Metropolitan Region of São Paulo, and the Commission for Citizenship and Reproduction (CCR), devoted to research in the fields of health and reproductive rights and sexuality. The Institution publishes the Journal New Studies (Novos Estudos) quarterly.
