It is rigorously tested inside and out. Government-regulated laboratories in the USA, Hong Kong, China and Taiwan have for 13 years repeatedly tested Xtrema® cookware to be free of extractable lead, cadmium and other heavy metals under the USA Government guidelines for heavy metals and chemicals. Ceramcor abides by the laws set forth by the FDA and California Prop 65. We are and have always been transparent about our process and our inspections.
