This reduces kids' capacity to learn, robbing them of two hours of essential learning time every day.If a child goes to school hungry once every week, the loss in learning time is equivalent to one term each year.We don't think this is acceptable.We started Cereal for Coffee because we wanted to change this statistic, one breakfast at a time. Our solution is simple: swap a new box of cereal for a free coffee at a participating café.We're different because we provide the resources needed, directly to the local schools and breakfast clubs, so they can ensure the children in their programs get to class with a nutritious breakfast.Cereal for Coffee is a registered charity with the ACNC and endorsed as a deductible gift recipient (DGR).
