The Center for Foreign Trade and International Cooperation - CFTIC oversees all theforeign activities of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in theinternational arena. Guided by the goals of the UN's 2030 Agenda for SustainableDevelopment, we aim to develop and promote the creation of innovative agriculturaldevelopment communities, by harnessing Israeli innovation and technologies forsustainable agriculture and rural development. CFTIC provides the Ministry and itspartners the necessary infrastructures to leverage the design and implementation ofagricultural projects which support the integration of R&D and applied scientificknowledge.We believe in the power of enhancing collaborations to resolve developmentchallenges, such as acquisition costs and the need to foster local human skills.CFTIC works primarily through the framework of government-to-government (G2G)agreements, as well as collaborations with international organizations, professionalinstitutes, and relevant NGOs. We promote B2B activities that complement and supportgovernment-led initiatives to expand the outreach of Israeli most up-to-datetechnologies.
