Chalet Kent is a non-for-profit organization where youth members and adults actively work together to create a safe-space for youth between ages 11 and 18. Located in the neighbourhood of Côte-des-Neiges, a borough of on the Island of Montreal situated on traditional unceded Mohawk territory.Our mission is to create an inclusive environment built on the foundation of respect, critical thinking, and open communication.Chalet Kent is more than your average year-round youth drop-in center! Chalet Kent is an extension of our diverse support system. Our team aims to keep youth inspired and empowered. Mentorship and leadership is not limited to center hours.With diverse art projects and programs the goal is the same, to give youth a safe space to explore, build, and deepen their understanding of art and activism. While gaining the tools needed to think critically and responsibly.
