Georgia is one of the oldest wine producing regions of the world. The fertile valleys of the South Caucasus, which Georgia straddles, are believed by many archeologists be the source of the world's first cultivated grapevines and Neolithic wine production, over 8,000 years ago. Due to the many millennia of wine in Georgian history, the traditions of its viticulture are entwined and inseparable with the country's national identity. Among the best-known regions of Georgia where wine is produced is Khakheti region. Exactly in that region is Chandrebi vineyard located. Orovela brand has been established by the company as first super premium Georgian wine, primarily for developed markets. It is very small brand but with very strong positioning on UK market, it is successfully being sold in Waitrose, and the famous shops in the UK like; John Lewis Oxford Street, Eagle's Wine; Huntsworth Wine Co Limited; John Gordon Duff; Whole Foods Market London etc.
