ChangeFunder is driven by a desire to help facilitate make the world a better place for the world's poorest people. By leveraging and connecting new models of engagement with improvements in technology and access, we believe we can support and empower individuals and communities in less-developed countries with direct and ongoing engagement with benevolent individuals for support, ideas, and money. ChangeFunder aims to catalyze a focused approach to social media for the 3-4 billion who don't have time for funny videos, ironic memes, or partisan diatribes; people whose main motivation to join an online social network would be to improve their lives but haven't yet had a practical way to do so. ChangeFunder will provide the connectivity of a social media platform with the game-changing utility of a blockchain enabled, bank-free mobile money app that creates a vibrant online marketplace for "the rest of the world."
