We are the new ancient church. We are within the trunk of the tree of Christianity—a part of the original church. We are what would most closely be called Liberal Catholic. However, unlike other liberal churches that have thrown out much of the theology and liturgy of the first century church, we retain all of that beauty, truth, and excellence. But we also do not agree with the new, more conservative ways of being church, in which Christ is kept in golden, beautiful prisons, so that He can be kept safe from the sins of His people. We believe that being like Jesus is infinitely more important that worshiping Him from afar. He came to heal us, not to hide from us. Therefore, we have dug the church from the crust of politics and clericalism by calling ALL to the Sacraments, regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, or marital status. We, like Jesus, believe in meeting the human person where and as they are. We welcome the outcast, understand that not all roads to God are our own, and uphold Christ's concern for the poor and the widowed, who were the lowest of the low in his society. We believe Christ was God and God became human in order to make us divine. So we welcome you, all of you, as you are. God loves you, not because of who you are, but because of who God is. And we are all called to love one another also because of who God is—to all of us.
