San Saba Pecan was established in 1972 in the Central Texas city of San Saba, known as the "Pecan Capital of the World". In February of 2003, San Saba Pecan became a vertically integrated company and added facilities in Las Cruces, NM and Harlem, GA. SSP is a primary supplier of shelled pecan products to both domestic and international customers.In-shell pecans are produced from orchards located in Arizona, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas. These pecans are processed at the shelling facility in San Saba, Texas using some of the most modern and state-of-the-art equipment available in the pecan industry. For over 38 years, San Saba Pecan has built its reputation on the foundation of quality, service, and success. This foundation has brought San Saba Pecan to the forefront of the pecan industry.January 2020, San Saba Pecan began operating under a new name, Chase Pecan LP. The Chase Family has owned San Saba Pecan since 2001, and over the last 18 years, the shelling operation has continually been updated to reflect the quality and technological standards of our parent company, Chase Farms. As one of the largest vertically integrated pecan companies in the world, we look forward to continuing to offer our USA grown and processed pecans to our customer base.
