Chatfish will bring about a novel revolution to the current social media and telecommunications market, as it long requires the next big thing. The app will utilize augmented/mixed reality to join users together in the same image or video that are in different locations (appearing as if you and the other user are together) As the project is still at the pre seed stage, with no MVP to show it will be difficult to garner funding. I have consulted with a few professionals and many have deemed it a rather complex app to execute properly.However, if the app is unable to be executed only using a mobile phone it could be accompanied by AR/MR glasses to pull off a hologram communication between users, with all software and programming in the app and bluetooth integration to the glasses, this would ensure that the glasses are fairly affordable as they would only serve as projectors. Now with this addition, the company could be very lucrative in terms of sales of the glasses, as they would be required to work the app.The vision is to disrupt current social media leaders with the unique augmented reality revolution. Users will now move past the selfie era into a phase of being able to take pictures and videos with distanced users or communicate in 3D using the glasses. This will resolve the dissociation caused by the current social trend, also providing a brand new platform for online dating, eliminate the 'catfish' scenario and add much needed fun factor to current social media features. This is guaranteed to capture the billions in the social media market as people have been using the same apps for many years and nothing novel has since entered the market. As a tech startup it would eventually yield a large valuation but that is not the end - from its initial vision to revolutionize long distance communication, it will further seek to be the ultimate platform for long distance business communication so it falls under both C2C and B2B technology.
