From the founder of Charleville charcoal in outback Queensland, Miss Gidgee Chunky Charcoal was born. Leannda and her team perfected the method of selecting the perfect timber to cook and create "Gidgee Charcoal". After seeing the overwhelming demand for her product in the market to the point where she would be running out of raw timber and even sometimes unable to find staff in remote Queensland Leannda needed to find solution to meet up with overwhelming demand! The solution was to find an abundance of high quality raw timber she approved then follow the same cooking style she used in her pits in remote Queensland.After travelling across oceans and sourcing the right timbers then supervising the cooking process, we are now happy to be able to bring you "Miss Gidgee Chunky Charcoal". We are proud to say now we will be able to keep up with your insatiable demand for our premium Chunky hardwood charcoal!Our charcoal can be used at your next BBQ or in your restaurant kitchen to infuse the true Char/Smokey Flavor. Our charcoal will last 3 hours and give constant heat, less sparks and less ash! We bag our product in the same white 20kg bags so we us to so we can fit adequate large chunks of charcoal to keep your BBQ going!
