By teaching authentic Taijiquan ("Tai Chi"), our students are able to reach their highest levels of physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. The benefits of practicing Tai Chi include decreased stress, anxiety and depression, improved mood, improved aerobic capacity, increased energy and stamina, improved flexibility, balance and agility and improved muscle strength and definition. The Chen Style Taijiquan Workshop of Canada believes in openness, camaraderie, hard facts and real "kung fu" (skill attained through hard work). We aim to attract honorable and dedicated students and help them develop a strong foundation and excellent skills, in which the principles learned from their practice of Tai Chi carries into their everyday life.
