Chennai Theatre Academy was founded by Regin Rose who is an acclaimed and a professional Theatre Director, actor, and an acting trainer. He has graduated from National School of Drama, New Delhi with specialization in Acting and Post-Graduation in Theatre and Performing Arts from Pondicherry University after his initial Under-Graduation in Mathematics. He is a well-reputed trainer at Koothu-P-Pattarai and Mindscreen Film Institute, Chennai. Formerly, Regin Rose was training at Stone Bench Organization, Theatre Lab, K.K. Nagar, and Candle Lights, AVM, Chennai. He is also the Founder-Director of the renowned MEDAI Theatre Group.He is an experienced and a specialized trainer in Stanislavsky System, Michael Chekhov Acting Techniques, Physical Acting and Method Acting.Chennai Theatre Academy believes that acting can be learnt technically. Learning the intricacies of acting, its guidelines, knowing the types of acting and understanding and cultivating the intricate skills of acting are essential for all those who seek to participate as an actor either in cinema or in theatre.
