OUR PURPOSE:One of only two such programs in the nation, Cherished High Desert is a free residential program and social enterprise for women survivors of domestic commercialized sexual exploitation and human trafficking. OUR SERVICES:Serving Los Angeles County, Cherished's work in the anti-human trafficking movement is fourfold: (1) Outreach (2) Residential Program, (3) Job Opportunities in our Social Enterprise, and (4) Aftercare.OUR EMPLOYEES & PRODUCTSOur social enterprise employs our residents as artisans. Our artisans create beautiful, handmade jewelry as well as all-natural bath and body products using organic ingredients. We are pleased to announce that our first graduate is now employed as our Cherished Studio Manager.
