Cheslyn Hay Sport & Community High School is an 11 - 18 comprehensive school of around 1340 students of whom some 210 are in the Sixth Form. Since Its opening in 1977 the school has always responded well to ongoing change - initially due to natural growth then local reorganisation. In more recent years the developments needed to meet national requirements in curriculum and assessment are key to our continued success. The school has acquired a strong reputation for its work in curriculum development, care, support and guidance. This has been recognised positively in the most recent Ofsted inspection (March 2009).
