Chess 4 Charity Inc. is a non-profit, created by 2 kids, to hold annual chess tournaments to raise money for charities. They created it, and they launched it, with minor adult supervision. They wanted to show that even kids can make a difference, and they wanted to inspire other kids to foo good while having fun. Chess 4 Charity - Play 2 Give.We incorporated as a 501c3 non-profit. The kids are co-presidents and members of the Board. We have held 4 tournaments so far, and raised over $25,000 for charity. Our 5th annual tournament will be on October 15, 2017 in McLean, Virginia. This year, 100% of all proceeds will go to the Childhood Brain Tumor Foundation. We hope to raise another $5,000 this year for that charity.
