Chess Club of Boston College Details
The purpose of this organization shall be to maintain a chess club that focuses on fostering improvement across all skill levels. CCBC is motivated to teach the fundamental rules and basic strategies of chess to any interested onlooker. For more experienced players, CCBC offers competition among peers within an atmosphere conducive to chess play. CCBC also aims to play against other colleges in unofficial matches as well as tournaments for Boston College students. Overall, CCBC aims to unite students by playing and discussing the game.
