We, at Chhaap believe that theatre serves as an important and pretty effective tool in conveying a social message, propagating right practices, and even training the workforce of any organization in soft skills, or even technical details. With rich experience (more than 3000 performances) in dealing with different kinds of audiences and making them aware of a range of topics, we've realized the true potential of street theatre. Giving the audience (to be trained/addressed) a closer to life experience and helping them realize the importance of the subject through a more direct, in-person interactive medium of street plays, we've observed a much more effective outcome from the people as compared to other training mediums like videos, lectures, print ads etc.We also conduct CSR based programs for organizations through theatre, which can be done either by performing plays in public spaces to create awareness on issues that need to be addressed or by working with underprivileged sections of the society to train them with the dual aim of making them aware and learn a skill (theatre) to become capable enough to spread awareness and even earn themselves a decent living.
