In November 2011, Chi-X Europe became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bats Global Markets (Bats), a leading global operator of exchanges and services for financial markets. In 2012, Bats combined its MTF with Chi-X Europe to form Bats Europe, the largest pan-European equities exchange by market share and value traded. The integration of CBOE Holdings and Bats Global Markets was completed on February 28, 2017 and officially formed Cboe Global Markets, Inc., which is one of the world's largest exchange holding companies, offering cutting-edge trading and investment solutions to investors around the world.
