CHIAcademics is a consortium of educators who seek to create an awesome educational experience for your child. We believe in collaboration between teachers, students and parents. Our vision is to inspire young minds in their search for knowledge while engaging parents as supportive partners in their child's educational journey.Our teaching staff is heavily weighted towards the engineering and science professions. Many are active in the homeschool community and are long-time advocates of alternative education systems. Our instructors provide an excellent education in the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) courses. We will be rolling out more art and humanity courses in forthcoming semesters.We model ourselves similar to local community colleges, where the student may pick and choose classes, cafeteria style, and come and go from our facility as needed. A student may take one class with us or a complete curriculum. Our classes are structured so that students meet with instructors for 1-3 hours per week of face-to-face class instruction. Additional study time is completed at home or online. This allows for far greater freedom of time than the traditional 5-day-a-week school model.We are all about flexibility and choice.If your child is currently in a traditional school model, consider getting to know your child by enrolling him/her in a school that fundamentally believes that the responsibility for an awesome education resides with a collaboration between teacher, parent and student. CHIAcademics facilitates that partnership by providing a scholastic environment that helps the parent share the enjoyment of teaching and guiding.
