What is the Chicago Booth Mentorship Program?The Alumni Club of The University of Chicago Booth School of Business is committed towards the development of the next generation of leaders in Singapore. The Chicago Booth Mentorship Program provides business students at the National University of Singapore (NUS) with a unique opportunity to engage in constructive and valuable feedback sessions with peers and professionals from across industry. What is the overall program structure?The Program works on a co-mentoring model where 2 mentors form a group with up to 4 mentees. This group will meet at least 5 times over the course of 5 months – including kick-off and capstone events with 3 meet-ups in between.Who are the mentors?All mentors are Chicago Booth alum with the vast majority holding MBAs (either full-time or executive) from the university. The 2020 cohort of mentors come from over 9 countries, representing an equal number of industries, and covering an even broader number of specializations. What is the curriculum?• 5 sessions – including the kick-off and capstone events – with 3 dedicated sessions involving mentors and mentees • Duration from the launch to the capstone events to run approximately 5 months • Commence on 19 February 2020 with the kick-off at the NUS Business School • Subsequent sessions to take place at a mutually agreed location and time such as the mentors' working spaceHow do mentees benefit? • Access to learn from experienced and accomplished Chicago Booth alumni – representing most industries and coming from across the world• Gain insights to face and overcome challenges – both personal and professional – as they relate to finding one's path in the working world• Get exposed to new ways of working within a collaborative space alongside mentors and fellow mentees
