Pernille Holmboe and Tale Hagelsteen are the Norwegian duo behind global brand CHICAMEO and currently based in international hot spot Hong Kong. Pernille is one of the most recognizable models in Scandinavia having modeled internationally for top designers such as Vivienne Westwood and Sonia Rykiel, as well as leading titles Elle and Harpers Bazaar. Tale has been a designer for 10 years and has lead design and production for several large American brands. With extensive experience in fabrics, patterns and production she started CHICAMEO with Pernille in 2011. CHICAMEO is about playful dresses, pants, jackets and blouses – all in handpicked quality fabrics such as silks, cottons and Italian leather - in mixed prints, bold popping colors and with a clear focus on eye-catching embellishments. All garments are limited editions only to ensure an exclusive, individual experience. Only the finest fabrics are used, and Pernille and Tale personally handpick all materials including fabrics, linings, threads and embellishments. At their studio, they work with top pattern makers and seamstresses to make each piece custom-perfect. CHICAMEO's vision is to make each customer feel special and unique with a perfect touch of chic confidence. Every garment has a timeless cut with eye-catching embellishments and bold, playful, colorful and romantic prints creating an exclusive, stand-out look.
