Schools - Puyallup, WA, US
Nestled in the Puyallup Valley, amid small farms and berry fields in the shadow of Mt. Rainer, lies Chief Leschi (pronounced "lesh-eye" ) Schools. We are one of the largest Bureau of Indian Education (BIA) schools constructed in the nation and we are operated by the Puyallup Tribe of Indians. We are dedicated to serving the educational needs of all Native Americans in our area. Our 200,000-square-foot school is intended to be a model for Native American programs around the country and show a glimpse into the future of educational technology for all educators. We serve Native American students from more than 60 different tribes with current enrollment of approximately 750 students who attend pre-kindergarten through 12th grade.
