Tsuut'ina Nation strongly believes that education is a universal right that fosters the well being of the individual and the community. Tsuut'ina Nation believes in lifelong learning and education which begins in early childhood and extends throughout adulthood, and includes grade school, post secondary education, and skills training.Chiila Elementary School is located on the Tsuut'ina Nation in Alberta. Chiila Elementary School offers culturally immersive education that utilizes curriculum offered through Alberta Education and teaches Tsuut'ina language, morals, and values to students enrolled in kindergarten to grade four.Chiila Elementary School also offers a Tsuut'ina immersion program called Gunaha Atsidilashi, which is offered to students aged 3-4 years old. The program is taught entirely in the Tsuut'ina language by language educators from the Tsuut'ina Gunaha Institute.
