Child Aid Project (CAP) has been mentored and incubated by Madras School of Social Work, Chennai. We vision towards creating safer and emotionally healthier family systems where children can grow up free from the four main forms of child abuse- emotional, physical, neglect and sexual. Ours is a unique parent child program wherein we design, develop and deliver Boardgames, Activity Books, Workshops and Counseling sessions that help "Build Family Resilience and Promote Child Safety Practices"All of our programs focus on-- Reducing particular risk factors/conditions that are associated with child abuse and neglect, and- Promoting protective factors including circumstances in families and social communities that increase the health and well being of children and their familiesWith a diverse team of social entrepreneurs, psychologists, health experts, parenting experts, therapists, teachers and parents who closely work with children, parents, school systems and caretakers, we currently run 6 working verticals wherein we equip our stakeholders with well researched tools and resources on Resilience Building and Child Safety Practices.CAP has been able to touch 1000+ lives in a span of 1 year and has worked with renowned industry experts including TATA Groups, TeachForIndia, DonBosco Group of Schools, Rotary Clubs, IndigrowKids, ParentingMatters, etc. Our works have even been highlighted on media frontlines including in The Hindu and Youth Ki Awaz.
