A Unique Partnership in Early Childhood EducationChildFamilyConnect is a partnership of five independently-operated, non-profit, community-based child care centres dedicated to delivering and promoting professional early childhood education programs within a broader school environment. Formally incorporated in 2000, ChildFamilyConnect constitutes a close family of well-established early childhood education and care programs with deep roots in their communities and a long history of close collaboration. Based in Ottawa, Ontario, the five centres in our network are:• Carleton Preschool - Rainbow Kidschool• Devonshire School Age Program• REKSAP Centres for Early Learning• Whitehaven Kindergarten School Age Centre*Alta Vista Childcare CentresUnique among school-based child care programs in the region, ChildFamilyConnect brings together like-minded independent organizations, each with its own parent Board of Directors. Each centre is directly represented by its professional Director and its Board President on a common Board that coordinates services and initiatives of mutual interest and benefit to the ChildFamilyConnect members.
